"The potatoes house"
In this small hamlet of Brenantec, Anthony came to spend his holidays on his great-grandparents' farm. In 2019, with Sophie, we've decided to revive one of the stone buildings. This small barn made of stone and earth had been used for fifty years to store potatoes grown and harvested in the family's fields. It was called "the potatoes house".
Almost 2 years later, the gîte "Les Pignons Verts" in french, and "The Green Gables" in english was born. We have tried to keep the existing stone walls as much as possible and have chosen to extend with a wooden extension in order to offer our guests a peaceful, pleasant place in keeping with its origins.
Your hosts
We both love Brittany and the many wonders its offers us. We wanted to share this authentic Brittany by opening the doors of our renovated and decorated gîte to offer you as much comfort as possible.
Our taste for sports and leisure of all kinds made us discover a bunch of activities and magical places. We will be happy to share them with you during your stay at the gîte des Pignons Verts, in South Morbihan.
